Job Overview

Maintain the care of patients in the gynaecology outpatient environment to an agreed standard under the supervision of qualified staff.

Main duties include:

  1. Maintaining stocks of stationery and consumables, ensuring timely replenishment and repair.
  2. Organising clinics independently, preparing and replenishing equipment, documentation, and addressing errors and omissions effectively.
  3. Entering and retrieving specialised data related to early pregnancy and acute gynaecology on an Outlook calendar.
  4. Undertaking bookings for direct colposcopy referrals using Lorenzo and Masey database.
  5. Recognising health and safety issues related to the use of specialist electrical equipment.
  6. Ensuring all tissue specimens collected are appropriately packed and labelled before taking them to the Pathology Laboratory.
