About the Role

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Worker to join their Adult Duty Intake Team at Jewish Care in Barnet, London. This permanent part-time position offers a competitive salary of up to £26,297 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and enable adults in the Jewish Community.
  • Supervise Social Workers, Social Work Students, and Volunteers.
  • Lead on projects to increase collaboration and multi-disciplinary work.
  • Identify key issues in the community, respond to needs, and work with others to develop new opportunities.
  • Prioritize work in accordance with complexity and level of risk, while working with local authorities and other health and social care agencies to develop closer working relationships.
  • Represent Jewish Care in health and social care platforms and share information with colleagues and those we work with.

We are looking for a Social Work qualification with registration with Social Work England, a qualification in Supervision/Practice Education, and experience in managing social work caseloads and supervising others. You should also have experience in working with adults in a social care context, community and/or group work, and knowledge of adult health and social care systems, agencies, and relevant legislation. An interest or knowledge of the Jewish Community is also desirable.
