Lead Nurse Specialist for Gynaecological Cancer Care

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic Nurse to join our Gynaecological Cancer Service as a Lead Nurse Specialist.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing support to patients with gynaecological cancers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality evidence-based care, and supporting relatives and carers.

The role involves the development of an effective and efficient service for patients in the Mid Anglia area, in collaboration with other members of the network multi-professional team, in line with national Improving Outcomes Guidance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialist clinical care and advice for patients, relatives, carers, and healthcare professionals
  • Improving and maintaining standards of care within the specialty in line with the Cancer Plan and NICE Guidance
  • Supporting the development of the service and reviewing clinics to improve care for women
  • Collaborating with the lead consultant to deliver high-quality care for patients with gynaecological cancers
