Key Responsibilities- Lead Groups of Students: You will lead groups of international students on various activities and day trips, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
- Create a Lively Atmosphere: You will create a lively atmosphere during excursions, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring that students have a memorable experience.
- Health and Safety: You will take responsibility for the health and safety of all students, including completing and adhering to risk assessments and emergency procedures in line with EF policy and procedures.
- Welcome Briefings: You will deliver initial welcome briefings to students before an activity, ensuring they are well-informed and prepared.
- Attendance Records: You will keep accurate attendance records and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
- Excursion Research: You will research excursion destinations, lead guided tours, and provide interesting information and facts to students.
- Supplementary Materials: You will organize and distribute relevant supplementary materials to students for activities.
- Record Keeping: You will ensure that all records, receipts, and evaluations are handed in to the Student Activities and Events Manager at the end of activities.
- Student Welfare: You will ensure the welfare of all students, with a focus on students under 18 years of age, and follow robust procedures to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Team Collaboration: You will liaise with co-leaders and the Student Activities and Events Manager to discuss how to improve future activities and provide a thorough handover after each activity or event.
- Event Support: You will attend and assist the Student Activities and Events Manager with large events.
- EF Behaviour Code: You will ensure that the EF behaviour code is followed by all students at all times and inform management immediately if there are any issues or problems.
- Additional Duties: You will assist with other duties as requested by the Student Activities and Events Manager or Customer Support Manager.
- Highly Motivated: You will be highly motivated, energetic, and positive with a sociable and outgoing personality.
- Leadership Skills: You will be confident in leading and managing groups of students.
- Organizational Skills: You will be highly organized and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised.
- Conflict Resolution: You will be able to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressure.
- Customer Service: You will have a customer service mindset and be quality-oriented.
- Cultural Awareness: You will have awareness and appreciation of cultural differences.
- Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills, both with students, colleagues, and external clients.
- Flexibility: You will have a flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken.
- Clearance: All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references.
- Right to Work: You will have the right to work in the UK.
