Job Title: Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Activities Coordinator. This role will play a critical part in supporting the delivery of exceptional service to our students through engaging with student groups.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, advising on, and approving society event/trip budgets and finance in collaboration with the Activities (Events) Team. They will also support societies to effectively manage their finances, including debt, and review society sponsorship contracts to ensure they align with college and union policies.

The Activities Coordinator will be a key member of the Directorate of Membership Services, working closely with colleagues across the organization to ensure our training package, volunteer support, and processes are equitable and effective for all student groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training relating to financial processes
  • Process financial documentation that enables diverse activity for student groups
  • Coordinate finances associated with club and society activity, annual and event budgeting in conjunction with colleagues in the finance team

Requirements:

  • Excellent administration and organizational skills
  • Methodical approach to managing information and sophisticated interpersonal skills
  • Experience with financial systems and processes, and supporting student or young leaders
