Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor - Minor Works

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our Construction Safety Team. The successful candidate will provide professional safety advice and support to the Minor Works team, ensuring compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain safety-related registers and trackers.
  • Assist with collation and issue of pre-construction information.
  • Conduct regular audits and due diligence checks to monitor safety performance of PC's.
  • Provide advice and guidance to applicable teams on the requirements of the CDM health and safety file.
  • Collate and report monthly monitoring and performance data received from our partners and external consultants.
Requirements:
  • Professional competence with a minimum of NEBOSH General / Construction Certificate and affiliation to an internationally recognised health and safety institute.
  • Demonstrable construction knowledge, with an understanding of construction / maintenance terminology and processes, H&S legislation applicable to construction and / or M&E - Housing Sector experience will be advantageous.
  • Good understanding and experience with Construction Design Management Regulations 2015 specifically on the Client side including undertaking contractor audits.
  • Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines within a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Fluent in Excel, PowerPoint, and standard Microsoft programmes.
  • Ability to clearly communicate messages/instructions.
  • Ability to plan and manage workload to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to react quickly to ad hoc requests.
