Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, both over the phone and in person.
  • Provide information about hospital services and treatments, ensuring all requirements and queries are dealt with effectively.
  • Log enquiries on the Hospital CRM and oversee the customer journey.
  • Undertake bookings for patients, adhering to GDPR guidelines.
  • Ensure all customer interactions are handled in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with Consultants and Medical Secretaries to provide services for patients.
  • Provide a warm welcome to all visitors to the department, including patients, consultants, and visitors.
  • Transfer clinic lists onto our Patient Information Management System (PIMS) in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitor departmental email inboxes and take associated actions.
  • Allocate clinic rooms and coordinate bookings with medical secretaries, consultants, and other staff members.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proven experience in customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a good level of IT literacy.
  • Good organisational skills.
