English Language Educator Job Description

**Role Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated English language educator to deliver high-quality lessons in GCSE and Functional Skills English. As an English Lecturer, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic goals.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in GCSE and Functional Skills English
* Assess, record, and report on student progress and attainment
* Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students
* Develop and adapt teaching materials to cater to diverse abilities
* Maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment
* Attend departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development

**Requirements**

* Recognised teaching qualification in the subject area
* Experience teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English
* Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities
