Service Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Service Psychologist to join our Alkaptonuria Team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a neuropsychological assessment service for AKU, working closely with colleagues from other professional disciplines.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assess and evaluate patients with AKU, using a range of neuropsychological tests and assessments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of our service, including auditing and continuing appraisal of best practices.
- Advise service managers on issues, policies, and procedures affecting the client group.
- Undergraduate degree in psychology.
- Supervised postgraduate experience in neuropsychological assessment.
- Proven experience of managing caseloads independently.
- Demonstrable experience of working with colleagues from other professional disciplines.
- Desirable: experience working with patients affected by rare diseases.
