Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Academic Educator to join our education department at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering high-quality education programmes to healthcare staff across the trust.

About the Role
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver education programmes to healthcare staff across the trust.
  • Develop and lead on areas of education planning and programme development.
  • Ensure curriculum alignment and evaluation of all education programmes delivered by DREEAM.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and lead on areas of education planning and programme development.

  3. Support the nurse education lead to maintain accurate records of all training and education.
  4. Participate in the recruitment and selection process for staff in collaboration with the Education Lead.
Requirements
  • A first-level Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (RN/RSCN/Child Branch).
  • Knowledge of Trust training policies.
  • Practice Teacher / PG Cert Education.
  • Teaching & assessing qualification.
  • A minimum of 6 months working in an Emergency Department/Acute Care Environment.
