We are seeking an experienced Academic Cover Manager to join our team at George Spencer Academy. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a World-Class School with a national reputation for providing high quality education.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the recruitment and selection process, ensuring that all applicants are treated fairly and without bias. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary of £22,672 - £24,182 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process for academic staff
  • Ensure compliance with Safer Recruitment policies and procedures
  • Coordinate interviews and assessments
  • Develop and maintain relationships with schools and education providers

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in education or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
