Job Title: Associate Director

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Industrial Services and Technology Real Estate team at Turner & Townsend Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage large-scale and complex information systems and technology projects in the real estate sector, focusing on enabling technologies such as data centres, cloud computing, and smart buildings.
  • Develop and implement project strategies, plans, and budgets, ensuring effective processes and systems are established and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues, and providing written project communication materials and formal project progress reports.
  • Manage and coordinate client, contractor, and designer relationships, attending and chairing meetings, and drafting minutes.
  • Provide thought leadership and insights on the latest trends and innovations in the information systems and technology real estate sector.
Requirements:
  • Ideal candidate will have NEC accredited Project Manager certification and be a member of a chartered institute, such as RICS, or willing to work towards it.
  • Good knowledge of construction industry themes, including MMC, Net Zero Carbon, and Digital agenda, as well as project lifecycle and business case approvals process.
  • Ideal experience in large-scale information systems and technology projects in the real estate sector, with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Experience in master planning, strategic estate development, and capital project planning for business case compilation is desirable.
  • Detailed experience in NEC contract administration and client-facing roles at all levels is also desirable.
