Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator to join our client's team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machines, including Mazatrol CNC Lathes and driven tool Lathes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components
  • Conducting first-off inspections to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Filling out paperwork and maintaining accurate records
  • Working with high-tensile and ultra-high-tensile materials to tight tolerances
  • Using handheld measuring equipment, including micrometers, thread micrometers, and bore clocks
  • Collaborating with the production team to achieve production goals

Requirements:

  • Competency in setting and operating CNC machines
  • Experience working with high-tensile and ultra-high-tensile materials
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Knowledge of handheld measuring equipment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
