About the Role

We are seeking an experienced biotechnology technician specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of culture media, food and water samples, and monitoring temperatures in the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare culture media for various biotechnological applications
  • Assist in the preparation of food and water samples for testing and analysis
  • Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in the incubator and refrigerator
  • Contribute to additional tasks as required by the team lead
Requirements:
  • A strong background in biotechnology or a related field is essential
  • Punctuality and reliability are critical for this role
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures is necessary
  • Efficient time management skills are essential in meeting deadlines
  • A hardworking attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team are required
Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary, estimated at £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, based on experience. Additional benefits include casual dress code, company pension scheme, and on-site parking.

The working hours are 37 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift and day shift schedule. The role requires working in person, and applicants should be prepared to commit to regular attendance.
