Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Cleaner to join our team at Copacetic Risk Consultants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our client's commercial spaces, including offices, factories, and warehouses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all designated areas are clean and sanitized, including offices, washrooms, and common areas.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, carpets, and upholstery to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, shelves, and cabinets, to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
  • Restock and replenish supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels, to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and ensure all tasks are completed within the allotted time to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as floor polishers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure washers, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Notify management of any maintenance issues or needed repairs to ensure prompt attention and resolution.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
  • Experience as a commercial cleaner or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods to ensure a safe and environmentally friendly cleaning process.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment, as well as perform repetitive tasks, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Must have reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival and departure from work assignments.
