Job Summary:


Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and caring Nursery Nurse to join our team. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young patients.



Main Responsibilities:



  • Deliver daily care and activities to a group of children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
  • Compile and maintain development records on children, reporting to the Team Leader at agreed intervals.
  • Provide a stimulating, friendly, and caring environment at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursery team to promote inclusive practice and support children with special needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of childcare and education practices, staying up-to-date with current developments and policies.

Requirements:



  • NVQ 3 in childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and its principles.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including willingness to attend meetings, training, and nursery events.
  • Knowledge of inclusive practice and ability to promote equality and diversity in all aspects of work.
