About the Role

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team. As an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will work in partnership with GP Practices to deliver high-quality care to individuals with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and formulate complex programmes of care using a strength-based recovery-focused approach
  • Implement and evaluate interventions to manage low-level mental health conditions, including CBT, SPIRIT, and Anxiety Management
  • Work collaboratively with patients, carers, and other professionals to promote partnership working and optimise self-management
  • Provide assessment and direct patient support within GP practices, ensuring access to mental health services and community resources
Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. NMC, SSSC, GTC, HCPC)
  • Experience of working with individuals with mental health conditions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
