About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work in partnership with GP Practices to deliver high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and formulate complex programmes of care using a strength-based recovery-focused approach
  • Implement and evaluate interventions to manage low-level mental health conditions, including CBT, SPIRIT, and Anxiety Management
  • Work collaboratively with patients, carers, and other professionals to promote partnership working and optimise self-management
  • Provide support and guidance to GP and other healthcare staff to manage patient mental health and wellbeing
Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification and registration (e.g. NMC, SSSC, GTC, HCPC)
  • Experience of working in a mental health setting, preferably in a community-based role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours
