Project Engineer Job Description

At Zeeco, Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and delivery of projects from conceptual design through to delivery and installation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute projects, including drafting, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality control.
  • Utilize project management tools, such as Zeeco Order Execution tool (ZOE), to track project progress and ensure compliance with customer specifications and sales quotations.
  • Coordinate with sales, estimating, and quality control departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical and commercial correspondence.
  • Request project invoices via ZOE for finance.
  • Assist with quotation/sales support, field/sales trips, design engineering, and other project-related tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree
  • At least four years of project engineering experience, including plant selection, budget development, and control through the project lifecycle, QC, change management, internal and external customer communications.
  • Understanding of fabrication (welding, ASME standards, PED, etc)
  • Ideal candidates will have petrochemical and/or refinery experience, some combustion background, and some site experience.
  • Ideal candidates will be able to layout detail plant and electrical connection diagrams.
  • IT skills with Microsoft package competencies; Project, Excel, Word, Outlook as a minimum.
  • Excellent communicator - verbal and written.
  • Assertive and confident.
  • Self-motivated and works well under pressure.
  • Must be willing to travel worldwide.
  • Must live within 1 hour travel of Zeeco Europe Head office and be able to drive.
