About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled NMC Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our network management team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation of our strategic network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage network availability and resolve issues within agreed SLAs
  • Work with customers to meet their expectations and manage their SLAs
  • Provide a single point of contact for customers and manage 1st-level escalations
  • Undertake rapid restoration of network fault resolution within SLA
  • Agree deadlines with customers for remote site fault fixes and ensure 3rd-party teams remain within agreed fault management guidelines
  • Take overall proactive responsibility for technical support and issues arising within the environment
Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience
  • Understanding of network management and use of Network Management Platform tools
  • Proven track record of successfully prioritizing simultaneous activities within SLA
  • Self-motivating individual with the ability to develop strong customer relationships and function in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Recognized technical courses on related technical products and services, CCNA minimum, and approved best practice qualifications such as ITIL, ISO
