Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineering Lead to join our team at BMR Solutions Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer to lead the development and support of the Hardware Engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Altium and SolidWorks PDM vault, as well as proficiency in CAD software. A strong understanding of Ethernet, USB, and Serial Communications is also required.

The Hardware Engineering Lead will be responsible for reviewing and approving team deliverables to ensure quality standards are met. They will work closely with the Programme Manager and other stakeholders to prioritise projects and manage workloads.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and support of the Hardware Engineering team
  • Review and approve team deliverables to ensure quality standards are met
  • Work closely with the Programme Manager and other stakeholders to prioritise projects and manage workloads
  • Serve as a technical authority for hardware platform development

Requirements:

  • Degree educated in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • Extensive experience in PCB design and manufacture
  • Expert user of Altium and SolidWorks PDM vault
  • Strong understanding of Ethernet, USB, and Serial Communications
  • Working knowledge of CAD software

This position comes with an estimated salary of £65,000 per annum, plus benefits including 26 days' holiday, flexible start and finish times, pension, life insurance, private healthcare, and profit-related bonus.
