Job Title: Principal Biodegradation Scientist

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal Biodegradation Scientist to join our Environmental Sciences team at Labcorp. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing scientific leadership and expertise in delivering high-quality Biodegradation services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of scientific strategies to maintain our Biodegradation services at the forefront of the industry.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to promote and develop our Biodegradation reputation to clients.
  • Network with other teams within Labcorp to provide training and advice on technical issues and support the delivery of high-quality scientific products.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with existing and potential external customers to promote and develop our Biodegradation expertise and services.
  • Develop proposals for bespoke/unusual studies and programmes of work, leading the scientific review and design while contributing to accurate and prompt pricing.
Requirements:
  • Minimum BSc in Chemistry or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in the field of Biodegradation with in-depth scientific and regulatory knowledge related to Biodegradation.
  • Strong communication, networking, and negotiating skills.
  • Objective and logical analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Good commercial and business awareness.
  • Proven project management and customer liaison skills.
