About Salto Games Ltd

We are a new mobile game studio founded by two industry veterans with leadership positions at renowned companies. Our mission is to create games that bridge the gap between casual and midcore gamers.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior/Lead Artist, where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality assets, creating and maintaining a clear artistic vision, and directing outsource partners to ensure a cohesive art style.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the creative marketing effort, collaborate with the Performance Marketing team, and drive innovation in the field of game art.

Responsibilities
  1. Artistic Direction: Deliver high-quality assets and create a clear artistic vision for the game, ensuring consistency across all game and marketing assets.
  2. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Technical Director to optimize development and improve quality, and contribute to the definition of effective art pipelines and processes.
  3. Outsource Management: Direct outsource partners to ensure a cohesive art style across all game and marketing assets.
  4. Mentorship: Mentor the Art team at Salto, ensuring team members feel empowered at work through empathetic, reflective management and motivation.
Requirements
  • Artistic Vision: Ability to define and work within a range of art styles.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communicator with the ability to provide clear art direction, feedback, and mentoring tailored to the skill level of team members.
  • Technical Skills: High competency with 3D and 2D software such as Maya, Blender, Adobe suite.
  • Marketing Experience: Experience in marketing & the testing of art styles.
