Our Corporate Risk Solutions (CRS) division is a key part of M&G Life, responsible for designing and delivering bulk purchase annuities and alternative de-risking products for Defined Benefit pension schemes. The Pricing team plays a critical role in this process, and we are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Run end-to-end pricing for BPAs and other de-risking solutions
* Collaborate with colleagues and outsourcing partners to integrate commercial, investment, longevity, reinsurance, balance sheet management, and structuring workstreams into pricing projects
* Support senior stakeholders with technical analysis, strategy, business planning, and ad hoc queries
* Support distribution and transaction management colleagues with high-quality client deliverables and wider relationship management activities
* Contribute to the development of new and enhanced modelling capability, including tech solutions across the CRS pricing infrastructure
* Manage commercial outsourcing arrangements
* Support the ongoing pricing development of novel bulk annuity transaction structures, reinsurance solutions, and new product lines
* Lead Pricing projects in partnership with the Treasury and Investment Office, Finance Strategy & Finance Reporting teams
* Provide study mentoring and wider development support to junior team members

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

* Commercially minded Actuary with exceptional technical skills
* Experience of bulk annuity pricing, funded reinsurance, longevity reinsurance, or life insurance balance sheet management required
* Understanding of UK DB pensions valuable
* Understanding of Solvency II/UK for life insurance, in particular balance sheet construction, liability discounting, asset strategy & ALM valuable
* Experience of developing/structuring and pricing institutional insurance products valuable
* Understanding of non-standard capital and reinsurance structures valuable
* Ambitious and self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative/prioritise workload to strict deadlines
* Strong communication and presentation skills
