Forklift Maintenance Engineer

Job Description
">In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and preventative maintenance of customer forklift truck equipment, minimising unscheduled repairs and ensuring that all work is carried out in a time and cost-effective manner. You will also attend breakdowns, diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults, and perform subsequent repairs as required. Additionally, you will provide clear information to customers regarding equipment status, submit recommendations as necessary, and develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
">You will liaise closely with the parts department to ensure appropriate stock levels are held on the company vehicle, complete documentation to company standards, and adhere to Health & Safety requirements at all times. A FLT Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or Plant Engineering background is essential, with experience of hydraulics and electrical equipment an advantage.
">A professional and confident personality, strong communication skills, written and verbal, and the ability to plan and prioritise workload are also key requirements for this role. A flexible and helpful attitude to work, combined with a full driving licence, make you an ideal candidate for this position.
