Site Engineer Role Overview

The Site Engineer at Cooper Lomaz plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our factory equipment. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing a routine of planned preventative maintenance for all factory equipment, maintaining and authorising the permit to work system, and ensuring contractor compliance and safety.

Planned Preventative Maintenance System

The Site Engineer will develop and maintain a planned preventative maintenance system based on technical manuals, manufacturers' recommendations, and professional assessment. This system will be implemented on an ongoing basis and updated as necessary, covering factory, canteen, office, and external areas.

Other Responsibilities

The Site Engineer will coordinate work schedules with external contractors, ensuring they are inducted onto site and follow the permit to work system. They will also carry out portable appliance testing on site and take responsibility for their Health and Safety in the workplace.
