Job Title: Engineering Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team at the Port of Dover. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects through the project life cycle from inception to completion
  • Develop scopes of work from client requirements and manage design consultants and contractors
  • Lead projects through each stage of development through the Port's governance process
  • Manage delivery of the works in a live operational port environment
  • Collaborate with in-house specialists, external consultants, and contractors to deliver projects

Requirements:

  • BSc/BEng (or above) in Construction Management/Building/Building Services or equivalent relevant discipline
  • Project Management qualification from APM or alternative relevant professional organisation or demonstratable experience
  • Proven extensive experience as a project manager for the design and construction of buildings
  • Proven track record in managing concurrent design and construction projects, managing projects through the project life cycle, and working with clients to produce effective scopes of work
