We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at New Appointments Group. As a Project Manager for Utilities Infrastructure, you will be responsible for managing a range of engineering infrastructure projects, both large and complex in nature, spanning multiple utility disciplines (water & waste water, and HV/LV) and of a smaller scope and complexity, aligned in the delivery of the Capital Investment Plan.
Key Responsibilities- Project manage a range of engineering infrastructure projects from inception through to feasibility, design and implementation to project completion/handover, utilising the NEC3 and/or NEC4 suite of contracts.
- Work collaboratively with Contractors, Consultants and other Stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.
- Produce NEC contract documents and ITT packs, including the project Scope, Works and Site Information for subsequent Tender.
- Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, producing work/product/cost breakdown structures and maintaining project programmes.
- Review and understand CAD drawings and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with CDM2015 regulations and relevant Health & Safety legislation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including operational teams and multiple stakeholders.
- BSc/BEng or above in an appropriate related technical discipline (Infrastructure/Civils/Civils bias MEICA) or equivalent.
- Project Management Qualification from APM (APM PMQ) or alternative relevant professional organisation or demonstrable project management experience and a willingness to progress towards MAPM and the APM PMQ.
- Proven recent experience (minimum of three years) of managing and delivering utility based infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts and experience of working with Contractors, Consultants and other Stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle.
