Job Title: Maintenance Engineering Manager

Join Silver Stone Search & Selection in a critical role focusing on managing reliability and overall site engineering capabilities.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering against operational needs as well as providing a first-class service to internal customers.

  • Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the site engineering function covering both the management of the day-to-day reactive maintenance as well as planned maintenance activity.
  • You will promote best practice with an emphasis on delivering results through the effective management of your team.
  • You will facilitate and coordinate all of your team's activities and offer support for their own development.
Your Experience

We are looking for an apprentice-trained or qualified engineer with experience of managing an engineering team in a manufacturing environment.

  • A flexible and hands-on approach to people management is essential.
  • If required, you should be happy to step in and support your team.
  • You will be able to demonstrate accountability and effective delivery of goals and have broad engineering skills and a passionate approach that will inspire your team.
  • A self-motivated individual with high energy levels, you can calmly react to unexpected business demands to achieve the desired results.
