Educational Support Assistant

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task with the work set by the regular teacher.
A key aspect of this role is to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment. This will involve providing support and assistance to students as needed.
Liaising with teaching staff and school management will also be an important part of this position to ensure effective cover arrangements are in place.
RequirementsApplicants should have experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a Cover Supervisor. Strong classroom management skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Candidates must also have the ability to engage and motivate students, as well as a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
