Chef De Partie Belfast Job Opportunity

Gentech Recruitment is partnering with a client in Belfast to find a skilled Chef to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a specific culinary area and experience working in a high-volume kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining a consistent level of service within the Kitchen Department
  • Monitor stock movement and ensure stock security
  • Minimize wastage and understand daily departmental costs
  • Assist in monthly stock checks and provide training for employees
  • Ensure the area of work is fully stocked and set an example for commis chefs
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a chef or line cook in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong background in a specific culinary area such as pastry, grill, sauté, or pantry
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment and collaborating with other kitchen staff
  • Excellent culinary skills and proficiency in a specific culinary station
  • Ability to follow recipes and produce high-quality dishes
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
