We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Training to lead their technical training initiatives and drive the adoption of cutting-edge training technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive training portfolio that aligns with the organization's mission to advance deep sea exploration.
- Oversee a team of training designers and foster a culture of innovation and excellence in creating high-quality training programs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, engaging, and effective.
- Manage the full training cycle, from identifying needs to gaining external validation and accreditation.
- Select and manage external vendors and resources for training program development and delivery.
- Recognized qualification in training, such as CTT+ or CIPD.
- Extensive experience in instructional design, training development, or a related role, including leadership positions.
- Proven track record in designing and executing successful adult training programs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and familiarity with contemporary training design and delivery methods.

A relevant master's or bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning and Development, Adult Learning, or a related field is required.
