We are excited to be supporting a well-established business in Newmarket as they seek to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their team.
This role has become available due to a departure within the team, and within the role, you will report into the Financial Controller.
This is a fully office-based position, and as the incoming Finance Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of the accounts department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing sales invoices and reconciliations
- Managing aged debtors and creditors
- Processing purchase invoices and expense postings
- Bank reconciliations and financial reporting
- Additional duties as per the full job description
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar level accountancy role, with good knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Sage 200 or Xero.
Key attributes for this role include:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills on both a written and verbal level
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks
