We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Management Accountant to join our innovative and dynamic team at NXTGEN. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to take on a key role in supporting our Finance team during a period of rapid growth and expansion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Management Accounts process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Assisting with cash flow forecasts to maintain financial stability and make informed business decisions
  • Conducting insightful project analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance
  • Managing sales and purchase ledger duties, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Overseeing credit control to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize bad debts
  • Maintaining VAT accuracy and compliance, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded and reported
  • Assisting with audit requirements, providing timely and accurate financial information to external auditors

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • AAT qualified or studying towards CIMA/ACCA
  • Strong management accounting knowledge and experience
  • Proficiency in Sage 200 & Xero
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with different departments and third-party stakeholders
  • Drive and ambition to grow with the company and take on new challenges
