We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Officer to join our team at Amentum. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience across all stages of the project life cycle in medium to large-sized projects within the construction industry (£1m - £20m).

About the Opportunity

This role involves planning activities involved in the project life cycle, including identifying scope, building programmes, establishing methods of construction, sequencing, installation, and commissioning. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing planning deliverables and managing Contract Programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that Contract Programmes are produced, managed, and maintained in accordance with planning procedures.
  • Developing the overall planning strategy and timing & sequence of Contract Programme activities.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience across all stages of the project life cycle in medium to large-sized projects within the construction industry (£1m - £20m).
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software, such as MS Office, and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • An ability to travel to project sites on a regular frequency.
