About This Role
This is a critical position at Baxter, where you will play a key role in ensuring the safe handling of products and medicines to meet Home Care order requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and action all goods-in products, ensuring correct data entry and reconciliation of all receipts.
- Store products by batch and utilize first-expired first-out principles in compliance with temperature and storage condition requirements.
- Pick, dispense, and dispatch products timely and accurately in accordance with the warehouse and pharmacy standard operating procedures and operational KPIs.
- Undertake frequent compliance checks within the warehouse operations in line with Baxter Management Systems and external requirements.
- Escalate any operational discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor and Responsible Pharmacist.
- Record events and assist with the investigation in accordance with the complaints procedure.
- Manage and process all returns and waste in accordance with the warehouse and pharmacy standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing Assistant or equivalent.
- High levels of accuracy with data entry.
- Good IT proficiency, including using warehouse management systems.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous hands-on operational experience in a warehouse environment and/or pharmacy environment.
- Previous experience of working in a cold chain environment would be advantageous.
- Successful experience in following standard operating procedures.
- Working knowledge of Safeguarding practices.
- Good knowledge of safe manual handling practices.
