About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in achieving their procurement goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on obtaining competitive supplier pricing and work closely with the Procurement Category and Sourcing Teams and Bid Pricing Teams.
  • Support pricing validation and supplier onboarding activities to ensure suppliers can be appropriately vetted and loaded onto the systems.
  • Gather spending, volume, and service needs data in preparation for sourcing activities.
  • Negotiate and influence suppliers to achieve the best market rate.
  • Manage and support a wide range of internal stakeholders, supporting the development of annual targets and goals for cost, quality, reliability, and delivery.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of procurement experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
