Support Staff for Young Learners

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a school in Huyton to fill a full-time Reception Teaching Assistant role. This exciting opportunity involves working in a vibrant and supportive Early Years setting, providing essential support to young learners during this critical stage of their development.
The Role Overview- We are seeking an individual with previous experience working in an Early Years setting, preferably in Reception, who understands the EYFS curriculum.
- The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting young children's development, with a caring and patient approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues are essential.
- The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with additional needs and can adapt their approach to meet a range of abilities.

- The successful candidate will assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons tailored to the EYFS framework.
- Support the social, emotional, and educational development of children, including those with additional needs.
- Help with the preparation of resources, setting up activities, and supporting play-based learning.
- Monitor and record children's progress, working closely with the teacher and parents to support individual learning plans where required.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to children to ensure they are engaged and thriving in their learning.
Salary: £18,933 - £20,529 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Requirements- Previous experience in an Early Years setting, preferably in Reception.
- Understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- Caring and patient approach to supporting young children's development.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
- Experience supporting children with additional needs and adapting approaches to meet diverse abilities.
