About the Role

The successful candidate will be working alongside the English Department to support the teaching and learning of students. This will involve running 1:1 intervention classes with low-ability students to help raise attainment and promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supporting the English Department in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Running 1:1 intervention classes with low-ability students to help raise attainment.
  • Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom.
  • Discussing observations of students' work and assisting the teacher in planning for the development of their learning.

Requirements

We are looking for a Graduate with a 2:1 English Degree who is passionate about education and has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people. Previous experience working with children is highly regarded but not essential.
