About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Senior Flexonics - Lymington Precision Engineers. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our Integrex machine shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, set, and operate CNC machines to produce high-precision components.
  • Develop and implement efficient manufacturing techniques to improve productivity and quality.
  • Monitor and control the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement improvements.
  • Ensure the maintenance of CNC programs, tooling, and fixturing records.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of manufacturing processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working on Mill-Turn work centers in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with CNC programming and operation.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Desirable Skills
  • Programming Mazak controls.
  • Experience on Integrex E-Tower E, Integrex i, Y, Y, IV.
  • Working on large components with the use of a steady.
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety.
  • CNC Programming both 'On' and 'Off' line.
Qualifications
  • Basic O' Level / GCSE Qualifications, technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ).
  • Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
