At Senior Flexonics - Lymington Precision Engineers, we are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in the Integrex Machine Shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set, and operate machine tools as required to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement methods, tooling, and fixtures to achieve high-quality products while minimizing costs.
  • Monitor and control manufacturing processes to ensure total process control and quality standards are met.
  • Continuously improve methods and processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company procedures and quality standards.
  • Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping within the manufacturing area.
  • Perform preventative maintenance schedules and maintain records of CNC programs, tooling, and fixturing.
  • Accurately record and maintain information related to the manufacturing process.

Requirements:

  • Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working on Mill-Turn work centers in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and applications.
  • Experience of working to engineering drawings or work instructions.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings with a high-level understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances.
  • Programming experience on Mazak controls and Integrex E-Tower E, Integrex i, Y, Y, IV.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Qualifications:

  • Basic O' Level / GCSE Qualifications or technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ).
  • Completed a recognized apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
