About the Position

As a Housekeeping Team Member at peopleCare Communities, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the Home. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing rooms and furniture in assigned work areas, following established policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training on our systems and processes, including the Yardi Maintenance system, and will work closely with the Director of Environmental Services to ensure that all cleaning and sanitizing tasks are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks using specified cleaning agents and procedures, including vacuuming, sweeping, dry/wet mopping, scrubbing, and sanitizing/disinfecting floors, walls, windows, and doors between washing, dusting, emptying wastebaskets, rearranging furniture, removing waste, daily cleaning and disinfecting bathroom fixtures, replenishing supplies, cleaning floors, fixtures, and furniture in utility rooms, kitchens, closets, etc.
  • Ensure resident privacy during duties and report any incidents or concerns to the immediate supervisor.
  • Inspect furniture and surfaces in need of repair or maintenance and add deficiencies to the Yardi Maintenance system.
  • Adhere to department policies regarding quality assurance, safety, environment, and infection control.
  • Use personal protective equipment as required and participate in fire safety activities.

Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
