Environmental Compliance Program Director

This role is a key part of Amazon's commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead our Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance efforts in the EU.
Responsibilities:- Design, coordinate, and launch new EPR programs to respond to legal requirements in the EU, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, government agencies, recyclers, and consultants to communicate on operations and evaluate risks.
- Identify and prioritize regulatory requirements, define business needs, and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
The EPR compliance team ensures that Amazon transactions are collected and recycled properly. The team coordinates aspects of product transactions regulated by law, such as shipping packaging, product recycling, and customer information. This involves creating programs to fulfill recycling requirements across multiple jurisdictions and monitoring selling partner compliance.
