We are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage System Analyst to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the capability and technical compliance of the transmission network against a range of energy futures and viable operating conditions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work on the integration of low carbon generation, flexible demand, and other technologies onto the transmission system in North Scotland. As a System Planning Engineer, you will have the chance to develop your career in power system analysis and strategic energy planning of modern electricity transmission networks.

Responsibilities

">
  • Undertake power system analysis, including technical assessments of generator and demand customer connection applications.
  • Assess the capability and technical compliance of the transmission network against a range of energy futures and viable operating conditions.
  • Engage with multi-disciplinary teams throughout the business to aid in the creation of Area System strategic plans covering a range of energy futures to meet energy system needs for net zero.
  • Support the development and detailed design of projects through the justification of investment cases and undertaking system studies to underpin these.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £48,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus performance bonuses and a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.
