About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Governance Specialist to join our team at Aon Hewitt. As a key member of our Trustee Retirement Consulting Team, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients navigate the complexities of defined benefit pension schemes.

As a Pension Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on all aspects of pension scheme governance, including risk management, cyber security, and benefit reviews. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their pension scheme governance needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on risk management, cyber security, and benefit reviews
  • Work closely with our administration, project consultancy, and specialist teams to deliver high-quality services to our clients
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service

Requirements

  • Good understanding of defined benefit pension schemes and governance principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions
  • Professional qualification in a relevant field, such as APMI or PRINCE2, is desirable but not required
