We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Clinical Team as a Clinical Team Leader. As a Clinical Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to the nursing team and ensuring the provision of high-quality care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team and ensure the provision of high-quality care to patients.
  • Ensure high-quality individualized person-centered standards of care are delivered to all patients.
  • Ensure the effective supervision and development of staff.
  • Work and act as a key member of the team, supporting each patient in achieving their planned outcomes.
  • Act as the lead nurse in the assessment, implementation of care, and point of discharge.
  • Take charge of the clinical area.
  • Take a lead on developing and maintaining communication with patients, relatives, families, and carers to support them in achieving patient goals.
  • A adopt a flexible approach to hours of duty to meet the needs of the service over a 24-hour period.
  • Ensure on each shift the effective provision of supervision and support is given to the nursing team as appropriate.
  • Lead and manage allocated resources effectively through efficient resource allocation, skill mixes, roster management, and utilization of equipment and authorization of bank/agency staff as designated by senior nursing management team.
  • Participate in clinical audit, clinical risk, and quality issues, including the management and reporting of incidents.
  • Deputize for the manager as and when required.

Requirements

  • A current NMC Pin registration (Registered Mental Health Nurse).
  • A legal right to work in the UK.
