Job Overview:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's dynamic Geography department, inspiring the next generation of students. The role entails fostering a love for Geography and equipping students with essential skills for the modern world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging and rigorous Geography lessons aligned with the national curriculum and the school's educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Foster a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Geography department and across the school to enhance the learning experience.
- Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in the field of Geography.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Geography or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Geography at the secondary level.
