About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Functional Safety and Cyber Security Engineer to join our client's expanding team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering Functional Safety and Cyber Security functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with system engineers, components engineers, and external suppliers to deliver designs within the ISO 61508 and ISO 21434 frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security concepts, as well as technical, software, and hardware safety requirements.
- Participate in Reliability studies for HW (Fault metrics calculations) and FMEDA.
- Support customer reviews with functional safety input.
- Deliver work products in compliance with processes for ISO 9001.
- Deliver tasks in line with project milestones.
Requirements
- A degree or similar qualification in systems engineering or an engineering discipline.
- Strong experience in working across functional safety and cyber security frameworks.
- Familiarity with systems engineering processes from requirements capture through to design validation.
- Familiarity with MBSE techniques for system modeling.
- Hardware verification knowledge.
- Proven cross-function communication skills.
- Willingness to take on roles, responsibilities, and challenges required to achieve company goals and objectives.
