Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at Flourish Education. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a local partnership Primary School in Quinton.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1-1 support to students with SEND across Reception, Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2. They will assist in implementing tailored Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Individual Education Plans (IEPs) within the SEND Provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1-1 support to students with SEND
  • Assist in implementing EHCPs and IEPs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to adapt the National Curriculum
  • Support students with diagnosed and undiagnosed SEND needs
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with previous UK TA experience in a school setting, particularly with SEND. Familiarity with the National Curriculum and EHCPs is essential. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with teachers and support students with a range of needs.
