We're looking for an experienced Culinary Expert to join our team at Compass UK & Ireland. As a key member of our food service team, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food within the business and industry sector. With a focus on exceptional customer service and menu creativity, we're seeking someone who is passionate about great-tasting food and dedicated to delivering outstanding results.

Job Overview

We provide tailored food services to 140 clients in the business and industry sector. Our passion lies in creating great-tasting menus, promoting sustainability, and working with local suppliers and communities. We strive to build a culture that respects and celebrates the unique talents, beliefs, backgrounds, and abilities of all our team members.

About You

We're looking for someone with experience supervising a team, holding a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, and a flexible approach to working. You should have a Food Hygiene certificate and previous experience in a similar role. Ideally, you'll also be able to hold conversations about sustainability, locally sourced ingredients, and reducing waste.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
• Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
• Representing Compass UK & Ireland and maintaining a positive brand image
• Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards

What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per year, depending on your experience.
